Born in September, 1950 at Vadnagar, a small town in Mehsana district of North Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi grew up in a culture that instilled in him the values of generosity, benevolence and social service. During the India-Pak war in the mid sixties, even as a young boy, he volunteered to serve the soldiers in transit at railway stations. In 1967, he served the flood affected people of Gujarat. And before one could celebrate this story, the almighty netas , having had enough of the honesty circus, decided to suspend the lady in question. How will corruption be uprooted from our country, when an act of honesty is thusly rewarded and how will other officers be motivated to take action against the guilty when such a fate awaits them, we don't have answers to such questions. According to the report the DM submitted to the UP government, the 28-year-old sub-divisional magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar never demolished the wall of any religious structure. LUCKNOW: IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal, who took on the powerful sand mafia in Noida, was hurriedly suspended for demolishing the wall of a religious structure, which was dubbed a rash act that could have led to riots. But the 28-year-old sub-divisional magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar never demolished the wall of any religious structure, according to reports the DM has submitted to the UP government. The report says Nagpal was asked to visit Kadalpur village, where illegal construction activities were being carried out on government land, and settle the matter amicably. The report suggests it was unclear what religious site it was, since the construction had only just begun.
