The Aircraft Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineering is not exactly a degree but a license course approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The institutes which are approved by DGCA can provide this training course. After the completion of course, DGCA conducts a license exam. If you are able to successfully clear the license exam, you will receive the certificate of Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Certificate (BAMEC).

Aircraft
Manufacturing and Maintenance is a branch of Aeronautical Engineering.
This particular field of engineering deals with the design,
construction, development, testing, revamps, inspection and everything
related to the manufacturing and maintenance of an aircraft or its
components.
The task of an Aircraft
Manufacturing Engineer is to design and construct the aircraft and that
of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is to control, maintain and repair
of the specific parts of the aircraft or the entire aircraft. The course
imparts training for servicing and maintenance of the aircraft to
ensure safety.
After the completion
of the course, you can also appear for Associate Membership of
Aeronautical Society of India (AMAeSI). The qualified students are also
considered eligible for M.Tech Applications of IITs, Birla Institute of
Technology Ranchi and Madras Institute of Technology.
